Volver o no volver a la oficina tras las vacaciones

Meses de restricciones han normalizado el teletrabajo y tanto empresarios como trabajadores han visto sus pros y sus contras, pero ha llegado el momento de tomar decisiones y ver cómo afrontar la nueva normalidad. ¿Ya has decidido cómo vas a afrontar esta situación?

El dilema del teletrabajo y la vuelta a la oficina

España ha sido uno de los lugares en los que siempre ha habido más reticencias al teletrabajo. En 2019, solo el 4,8 % de los trabajadores españoles tenían la opción de trabajar en remoto mientras. en países como los Países Bajos. esta cifra aumentaba hasta el 14 %.

El último año ha demostrado a los empresarios que sus trabajadores podían seguir siendo productivos aunque trabajaran desde casa, y a los trabajadores que el teletrabajo les podía ofrecer una mejor conciliación entre trabajo y vida personal.

¿El problema?

Que somos animales de costumbres y nos cuesta poco volver a viejos hábitos.

Con el 70 % de la población vacunada parece que el riesgo de contagio disminuye y, muchas empresas, prefieren volver al trabajo presencial. Viejos hábitos en los que la posibilidad de controlar las horas activas de los trabajadores prima por delante de los buenos resultados obtenidos por el teletrabajo.

Alrededor de un 30% de los trabajadores por cuenta ajena han estado trabajando en remoto y desde sus domicilios

El escenario es muy diferente dependiendo de la cantidad de trabajadores que tenga una empresa y del tipo de trabajo que se realice. 

¿Hay que volver al 100 % al trabajo presencial?

Desde el punto de vista del trabajador volver a la oficina al 100 % puede hacerse muy cuesta arriba. Muchos de ellos han tenido que invertir en adaptar espacios de sus hogares al teletrabajo, ¿qué pasa ahora con esa inversión?

No olvidemos de la tranquilidad mental de poder llevar a los niños al colegio, de cuidarlos si están enfermos… 

Las empresas que han adaptado sus oficinas al distanciamiento social ahora se encuentran con el problema de ubicar a todo el personal en un espacio que ha cambiado mucho desde la última vez que tuvieron a todo el equipo reunido.

Aunque poco a poco recuperemos nuestras vidas sin restricciones, podemos aprender de lo vivido en este año y medio y encontrar la combinación perfecta para cada caso.

La desconexión total con los compañeros que supone el teletrabajo no es buena para el trabajo en equipo, pero tampoco es bueno tener a los trabajadores estresados por tener que volver a hacer malabares entre sus vidas y sus trabajos.

Muchas empresas están implantando nuevos modelos híbridos, unos días presenciales y otros días de teletrabajo. O incluso mañanas en la oficina y tardes desde casa, o viceversa.

Conclusión

Si las más grandes empresas del mundo están pivotando hacia un modelo de trabajo híbrido la respuesta es clara: no hay que volver a la oficina al 100 %.

El 62 % de los trabajadores desean combinar el trabajo entre presencial y remoto y ofrecer jornadas combinadas entre trabajo presencial y teletrabajo es un caballo ganador para las empresas que pueden atraer talento global, reducir costes y mejorar la productividad de sus trabajadores.
